Finally got my armor in Halo3

games November 8th, 2007

Yes I’ve become addicted to Halo 3. I usually enjoy the single player more than the multiplayer for certain games, Halo 2 was one of them. I only played it a few times on Live. I think being able to play split screen on a 60″ 1080p screen made the difference for Halo 3 :) Sure there are times where the tension level goes through the roof because you are playing against vastly superior players and it just isn’t fun to get beaten down every single time.

With the help of one of my Live friends and this helpful guide I was finally able to unlock the pretty armor I wanted. It requires finding all the skulls, some are pretty tricky to get to but with some luck and perseverance you can unlock this armor too.

Specifically to unlock the pieces of the Hayabusa armor check out this list. It will be awhile before I get the sword, lol.

Xbox 360 PGR4: What PGR3 should have been

games October 8th, 2007

I’ve been a long time Project Gotham Racing fan, I’ve clocked far more hours on the 4 PGR games over the years than I can imagine. The first PGR for the Xbox 1 had some nice graphics for its day, but the realism in the car handling and control wasn’t quite there.

Then came PGR2 and with it the endless hours of playing cat and mouse, last man standing, and orbital launching of cars. By far this single game was played the most on my original Xbox 1. If they took PGR2 verbatim and just updated the graphics for the Xbox 360 it would probably be my favorite PGR game of all.

PGR3 was an utter and complete let down, I think it saw maybe an hour of gameplay in my 360. Horrible gameplay, and they ruined our cat and mouse, last man standing free gameplay that we came to adore in PGR2. Sure the graphics were awesome on the 360, but they completely missed the mark on this one.

PGR4 - Test TrackJust a few days ago the last installment of the PGR line (PGR4) was released, and the best way I can describe it is “What PGR3 should have been”. They got it right this time, still wish there was a way to turn off ghosting for our beloved cat and mouse matches, but we can live without that. Graphics are top notch on a 1080p screen, gameplay is back to PGR2 days, great job Bizzare!

PGR4 - Bike tricksOh how could I forget the addition of bikes to PGR4? I could live without them, not fast enough on straight aways and very hard to control. Leave the bikes to motogp please.
